Tol Barad Commendations are the currency rewarded for completing daily quests in Tol Barad and for victories in Tol Barad battles. Baradin's Wardens and Hellscream's Reach each offer players randomly selected sets of daily quests: a diligent player can complete up to 18 dailies each day.

A set of six dailies are available on the Tol Barad Peninsula, which features faction-specific quest hubs accessible at all times, regardless of Tol Barad control. These six dailies are randomly selected from a large pool of quests. An additional selection of six dailies is available inside Tol Barad itself, which can be accessed and completed by the faction which controls the zone. If your faction controls the zone, you will always be able to access A Huge Problem, Swamp Bait, and The Leftovers. The other three quests will send you to one of the following three underground locations in Tol Barad: D-Block, Cursed Depths, and The Hole. You will need to complete these quests quickly as only one of these locations remains open between battles. Eventually, you will complete enough dailies to earn the achievement Just Another Day in Tol Barad. You can earn additional Commendations through the weekly quest Victory in Tol Barad.

Tol Barad Commendations can be redeemed at the following vendors in Tol Barad Peninsula: Baradin's Wardens: Quartermaster Brazie and Hellscream's Reach: Pogg. These Quartermasters sell item level 346 rare weapons which are useful upon first hitting level 85 for 85 Tol Barad Commendation, as well as extremely powerful item level 359 epic trinkets for 125 Tol Barad Commendation. Mirror of Broken Images is an important trinket on progression fights such as H:Nefarian where the on use ability can negate large amounts of magical damage. Many raiding guilds require members to grind Exalted with Tol Barad for this trinket.

In addition, there's some PvP items from the Quartermaster: Baradin's Wardens Battle Standard/ Hellscream's Reach Battle Standard, bandages, healing pots, and mana potions, but more importantly: resilience shoulder and helm enchants if you prefer to buy them with commendations instead of honor points.

There's also some fun things you can get with Commendations: Tol Barad Searchlight for neat screenshots, Baradin Footman's Tags/ Baradin Grunt's Talisman with a fun use, Baradin's Wardens Tabard/ Hellscream's Reach Tabard with a 4 hour teleport, the vanity pet Rustberg Gull, and two awesome mounts: Reins of the Spectral Steed/ Reins of the Spectral Wolf and Reins of the Drake of the West Wind.
