Gorgrond is a region located in northern Draenor. It was created when the massive giant Grond, a mountain given life via the elemental powers of the titan Aggramar, fell against the Sporemounds. His corpse became the region of Gorgrond, while his head in Nagrand became known as the Throne of the Elements.

When Draenor shattered and became Outland, Gorgrond and Frostfire Ridge were pressed together to become the Blade's Edge Mountains.
